THE BIG FIVE GAME: “…Book anytime”

Itinerary for 6 people 10 days.

Day 1.

Departure to Entebbe

Day 2.

Arrival to Entebbe international airport

We shall drive to Ziwa rhino sanctuary and spend our night, this day will be resting after the long flight, and get prepared for the best Big Five Game

Day 3.

Our first day to discover our number one on the list of the big five, wake up and have breakfast then go for Rhino tracking an activity that would take us about 2 to 3 hours or less depending on the distance where they will have been,(Rhinos), after continue to Murchison falls national park, We shall start our game to look for the remaining four of the five the evening of 28th ,we shall spend the night at Murchison treehouse lodge.

Day 4

Wakeup so early, have our break first and set off to enjoy our morning game drive where we expect to see as many animals as possible such as lions, leopard, cape buffalos, elephants, hippos, different antelopes, monkeys, warthogs to mention but a few, this game drive takes about 3-4 hours and return to the hotel for lunch and prepare for our afternoon boat cruise to the mighty Murchison falls, while on the boat, there are many chances of sporting more animals including the Nile crocodiles, different bird species and the on the banks of river Nile.

The boat will take us closer to the falls and we shall go down from the boat and hike to the top of the strongest water falls in the world, this hike/walk will take about 1 or 1:30hours, this is one of the best sceneries you have ever thought in life.

The car will come and pick you up from the top of the falls down to the hotel (Murchison treehouse), diner at the hotel and enjoy the camp fire where African stories are told.

Day 5

Wake up early enough to have breakfast and drive to the crater lakes regions, the drive takes about 8-9 hours of drive. this amazing region will make you relax as never before, this evening will be a relaxing one spending the night at Kelele lodge (this lodge belong to an NGO called Kelele Africa and benefits go directly to support the school that is at the same premises)

Day 6

Wake up not early, have breakfast and go for crater lakes exploration, this includes different trials in the nature enjoying the wildlife like birds, monkeys and knowing local people and their day to day life experience and also know a bit about Kelele Africa. And spend the evening enjoying the view of a beautiful crater lake. Sleeping at the same lodge.

Day 7

After breakfast at Kelele lodge, we shall go to one of the villages around Kibale national park, and go for a nature walk and later return to Kelele Lodge, we shall spend the evening at the lodge

Day 8

After breakfast, we shall transfer to queen Elisabeth national park the home of TREE CLIMBING LIONS, we shall have a stop at the EQUATOR LINE for a photo and continue to katwe salt mine, this salt mine is a crater lake in one of the community villages in the park, spend the night at bush lodge

Day 9

Wake up early to do a game drive around kasenyi, a place where we expect to see more wild animals and later go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Natural channel which will take us about 2 hours and spend the evening

Day 10

After breakfast, we shall go for chimpanzee tracking at Kalinzu forest Reserve, the activity will take about 2-4 hours and later head to Kampala for the evening (the drive will about 6-7 hours

Day 11

In the morning we shall visit the local craft market, to visit it or buy some gifts for us, family or friends, have lunch at the shores of Lake Victoria, and proceed to the airport for our flight at 18:45

At the end of the trip depending on our luck, we would have seen the big five of Africa and much more

It has green volcanoes, altitude ranges, open grasslands of Savannah, winding rivers, waterfalls and cataracts, lakes, glaciers, parks and rainforests.

Uganda is a quiet and safe destination that will certainly excite you. Compared to neighboring countries, their population is warm and welcoming to tourism. It allows to know all the animals dreamed in childhood, the Big 5 and to trace chimpanzees and gorillas in virgin valleys.

Uganda is incredible and limitless!

Places like the Murchinson mountains waterfalls with the birth of the Nile, or Lake Buyonyi with its endless islands will leave you speechless. That you also know its culture and its people is our goal so we propose an immersion in a rural area, living in an ecological school sponsored by a Spanish NGO, near Fort Portal. 

We propose you a 10 days trip:

  1. Leaving Madrid to Entebe. Firsts night in a  Hotel in Kampala.
  2. Day 2. Kampala to Murchinson Fall about  4 hours driving from Kampala with our four wheel car. Visit the Rhinos.
  3. Day 3. Game drive in the morning, boat ride to the falls as you watch animals taking water in the afternoon including crocodiles, hipos, elephants, birds,etc.. and hike to top of the falls.
  4. Day 4. travel to Fort Portal.. and spend the night in the crater lakes region.(this journey is the longest drive as it may take about 7-9 hours)
  5. Day 5, Cultural inmersion in Kasenda and explore the crater lakes in the area(paradise). After breakfast, you will engage in activities including guided walks and village visits around the community. While here there is the chance to help a charity project involved in education of the Community of Kasenda supported by the spanish N.G.O. Kelele Africa.
  6. Days 6 and 7 travel by car to Queen Elizabeth N.P., 2 nights.
  7. Day 8 back to Kampala. One day visiting and shoping in Kampala.
  8. Day 9 Mabamba Bay. To be entertained by the different songs of different birds at bay.
  9. Day 10 Back to Madrid Entebe. Entebe Brussels. Brussels Madrid.
